B. P. Rao is the Founder & CEO of People 1st Consulting. He has, with over 33 years as a Corporate HR professional, held top management positions in some of India's leading organizations like Wipro, Fujitsu-ICIM and Bajaj Auto.

After his schooling at The Lawrence School, Lovedale, he completed his graduation, majoring in Economics from the Loyola College, Chennai of the University of Madras. He then completed his Post-Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management from XLRI, Jamshedpur [batch of 1974]. He also has a Post Graduate Diploma in Training & Development from the Indian Society for Training and Development. He is qualified as an Instructor for Building Customer Focus by The Forum Corporation and has completed a Professional Development Program in HRD at the Best of America HR Conference.
